El ministro de Industria, Energía y Turismo, José Manuel Soria, entregó el distintivo que acredita que 174 playas y 12 instalaciones náutico deportivas cuentan con los estándares de calidad establecidos por las normas UNE de cada sector, asociadas a la marca ‘Q’ de Calidad Turística.
Durante este año, 13 playas han perdido su certificación, mientras que 11 la han conseguido por primera vez, de ahí que sean un total de 174 las playas reconocidas con este distintivo, frente a las 176 que lo consiguieron el pasado año.
Así, un total de 82 ayuntamientos representando a nueve comunidades autónomas han recibido las banderas de manos de Soria, que estuvo acompañado por la secretaria de Estado de Turismo, Isabel Borrego, y el presidente del Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española (ICTE), Miguel Mirones.
Por otra parte, 12 instalaciones náutico-deportivas han sido también reconocidas con esta mención de calidad, diez más que el año pasado, puesto que la norma comenzó a implantarse hace apenas dos años, y de los cuales seis están en Galicia.
Durante su intervención, Mirones ha insistido en la necesidad de que la ‘Q’ de calidad turística cuente con una mayor presencia promocional en las campañas de Turespaña.
